Maria Luisa "Lu Lu" Montalvo, 44, Of Kingsville, TX, passed away February 26, 2015 in Kingsville, TX.
She was born on December 8, 1970 in Kingsville, TX.
She was an Education Mentor Specialist with Community Action. She was also a member of St. Gertrude's Catholic Church. She was a 2007 Graduate at TAMUK with her Bachelor- Associates Degree. She had a gift for caring for children and her students. Her family loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Montalvo; grandparents, Roberto (Paula) Mendietta, and Pedro (Teresita) Montalvo.
Survivors include her parents, Pedro (Elva) Montalvo of Kingsville, TX; one sister-in-law, Sara Montalvo, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Rosary will be held on Tues., 03-03-2015 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wed., 03-04-2015 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
