Maria De La Luz Ochoa, 88, of Corpus Christi, TX passed away October 28, 2016 in Corpus Christi, TX.
She was born on February 27, 1928 in Kingsville, TX to Julian Guerra and Petra Garza.
She was retired from Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital as an x-ray technician. She also served as Eucharistic Minister at Holy Family Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilberto Ochoa.
Survivors include her son, Jose Ochoa of Miami, Florida; her daughter, Petra Moreno of Layton, Utah; one brother, Julian Calzada; two sisters, Victoria Gonzales, and Antonia C. Rios; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wed., 11-02-2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary was held on Wed., 11-02-2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thurs., 11-03-2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating and Deacon Raul Rosales assisting.
Interment will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
