Maria Angelica "Kica" Vasquez Tamez, 73, of Kingsville, TX passed away on April 9, 2017 in Kingsville, TX.
She was born on November 2, 1943 in Kingsville, TX to Santiago and Maria Vasquez.
She was a retired presser at Kingsville Laundry. She was also known for writing and reciting poetry to family and friends in the local community.
She was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.
Survivors include one daughter, Carmen Tamez Ortiz of Kingsville, TX; one son, Ruben (Yvonne) Tamez of Bishop, TX; one brother, Ernesto (Noemi) Vasquez of Salado, TX; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Cremation will be held with a private Graveside Service to be held at a later date.
