Maria Alicia Herrera, 68, of Kingsville, Texas passed away on June 27, 2024, in Kingsville, Texas.

She was born on March 21, 1956, in Kingsville, Texas to Jose Herrera and Juanita Ramirez Herrera.

Our mother enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved dancing to Spanish music and enjoyed her "Oldies but Goodies" as she would say. She liked playing loteria and had the luck of winning often. Her favorite colors were black and blue, as you can see family and friends wearing. We take great comfort in knowing her father and three siblings will be welcoming her into Heaven with open arms.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jose Herrera; two brothers, Luis Herrera, and Enrique Herrera; and sister, Consuelo Herrera Garcia.

Survivors include her daughters, Lynda Herrera Salinas, Maria Esther Medrano (Daniel Medrano), Krystale Marie Salinas; her mother, Juanita R. Herrera; brothers, Jose Herrera Jr., and Ernesto (Belia) Herrera; sister, Diana (Albert) Morneau; grandchildren, Sarah Salinas, Joel Salinas Jr. (Liz Vela), Tiffany Salinas, Alyssa Hernandez, Lilly Trevino, O. Tres Herrera, Desiree Herrera, Lynzie Herrera, Olivia De La Garza, Eli De La Garza, Jezabell Salinas, Joshua Salinas, and many great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Religious Service to be held at 6:00 p.m.
