Maria D. Garcia, 80, of Bishop, TX passed away February 26, 2020 in Bishop, TX.
She was born on May 8, 1939 in Bishop, TX to Pedro and Cruz Duarte.
She was a retired cook with Dairy Queen and a member of St. James Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe M. Garcia
Survivors include three daughters, Rachel Garcia of Lewisville, Rosario (Manuel) Garcia of Bishop, and Roseann (Evaristo) Garcia of Corpus Christi; four sons, Roberto Garcia of Bishop, Rene Garcia of Frisco, Guadalupe Garcia Jr. of Pearland, and Peter (Amy) Garcia of Bishop; one brother, Alberto (Janie) Duarte of Torrance, California; seventeen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Fri., 02-28-2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Fri., 02-28-2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Sat., 02-29-2020 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Father John Xaviour officiating.
Burial will follow at St. James Catholic Cemetery.
