Maria "Cucita" Herrera, 95, of Riviera, Texas passed away on July 14, 2016 in Kingsville, Texas.
She was born on June 25, 1921 to Juan and Regina Razo in Rancho De Los Razos, G.T.O., Mexico.
She was a retired homemaker and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Sarita, TX.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix V. Herrera; and two brothers, Rodolfo Razo, and Sarapio Razo.
Survivors include one daughter, Reyna Herrera of Victoria; four sons, Felix (Yolanda) Herrera Jr. of Kingsville, Juan (Gloria) Herrera of Riviera, Rogelio (Janie) Herrera of Victoria, and Uvaldo (Hilda) Herrera of Kingsville; five brothers, Valente Razo of California, Pedro Razo of G.T.O., Mexico, Tomas Razo of California, Uvaldo Razo of California, and Guadalupe Razo of California; two sisters, Celia Razo Medina of G.T.O., Mexico, and Bacilisa Razo Oidor of G.T.O., Mexico; sixteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sun., July 17, 2016, from 9:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
A Rosary will be held on Sun., July 17, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Mon., July 18, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of GuadalupeCatholic Church with Father Jim Foelker officiating.
Burial will follow at Riviera Cemetery.
