Margarita M. Escamilla, 97, of Kingsville, TX passed away March 31, 2017 in Kingsville, TX.
She was born on January 31, 1920 in Kingsville, TX to Anastacio and San Juana Martinez.
She was a retired homemaker and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Escamilla; daughter, Angelita Gonzalez; four sisters, Meche Martinez, San Juana Montes, Santos Diaz, and Dominga Garcia; and one brother, Anastacio Martinez.
Survivors include one daughter, Maria Eva Sawyer of Kingsville; two sons, Baldemar (Cynthia) Escamilla of Kingsville, and Jose Escamilla Jr. of Rosenberg; one brother, Alvino Martinez of Kingsville; seventeen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Mon., 04-03-2017 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Mon., 04-03-2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tues., 04-04-2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Romeo Salinas officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
