Manuela G. Martinez, 86, of Kingsville, TX passed away on April 11, 2023, in her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on September 10, 1936, in Falfurrias, TX to Miguel and Natalia (Olivarez) Garcia.

She was a member of the St. Martin Catholic Church and an honorary member of the Altar Society. She worked as a waitress for 17 years at La Siesta. She was also employed with the Grocery Box, Stop-N-Shop, and Popeye's Fried Chicken. She was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, sister, and aunt to all her family.

She was preceded in death by one son, Jose Alfredo Martinez; and one brother, Miguel (Teresa C.) Garcia Jr.

She is survived by one son, Jaime Martinez of Kingsville; one sister, Maria Elena Ramos of Kingsville; two nieces, Edna C. Garcia of San Antonio, and Stephanie Ramos of Kingsville; three nephews, Jose Ramos Jr., Rene Ramos, and David Ramos, as well as numerous cousins, great nieces, and great nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 16, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 2:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home with Deacon Raul Rosales.
A Cremation will take place with a Graveside Memorial Service to be held in Santa Gertrudis Memorial at a later date.

The family of Ms. Martinez would like to thank Alyda Home Health, VIP Providers, Inc., and Del Cielo Hospice for providing excellent service and care. Also, a special thank you to the many home care providers who helped take care of her on a daily basis.
