Manuel Garcia Jr., 74, of Kingsville, TX passed away August 26, 2020 in San Antonio, TX.
He was born on July 10, 1946 in Kingsville, TX to Manuel and Olivia Garcia.
Manuel was a dedicated husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather. He was a US Army Veteran who served our country during the Vietnam War. After completion of his military service, Manuel worked for the State of Texas Department of Human Services in Kingsville, Robstown, and Corpus Christi, Texas, for over 30 years. He always wore a smile, and would share his laughter with family and friends. Fishing, photography, genealogy, backyard bar-b-que, and music were some of his passions. We miss you and will not forget you. God bless. Love you always.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Urbana C. Garcia of San Antonio; one daughter, Angela G. (Juan Daniel) Belmarez; three sons, Manuel (Delma) Garcia III of San Antonio, Dr. Anselmo (Laura) Garcia M.D. of Phoenix, AZ, Roger Lee (Deanita) Garcia of San Antonio; two sisters, Grace (Alejandro) Soliz of Kingsville, and Carmen Garcia of Premont; six grandchildren;, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thurs., 09-03-2020 at 1:45 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, TX.
