Luis Salazar Sr., 66, of Kingsville, Texas passed away on March 13, 2023, in Kingsville, Texas.
He was born on February 24, 1957, in Kingsville, Texas to Juan and Victoria Salazar.
He was a retired carpenter with Van Fleet Construction. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Daniel Orlando Basaldua; and one sister, Herminia Fite. He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Sylvia Lopez Salazar of Kingsville; two daughters, Adrianna "Audrey" Salazar of Kingsville, and Nellie Salazar of Corpus Christi; one son, Luis Salazar Jr. of Kingsville; four brothers, Juan (Janie) Salazar, Guadalupe (Yolanda) Salazar, Flavio (Hilda) Salazar, and Leonel (Delma) Salazar; two sisters, Juanita Flores, and Noelia Olvera; mother-in-law, Marta Lopez; five grandchildren, Kaylee, Savannah, Ryan, Luis III, and Mia; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 12:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Paulson officiating.
A Cremation will follow, and a Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
