Luis Amador Jr., 90, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away on January 9, 2022, in Kingsville, Texas.
He was born on December 13, 1931, in Kingsville, Texas to Luis and Dolores Amador.
He was a retired leather craftsman with King Ranch Inc. He was also a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Concepcion, Consuelo, and Emma; and six brothers, Seferino, Juan, Enrique, Mike, Carlos, and Rodolfo.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Margarita B. Amador of Kingsville; one son, Jose (Jessica) Amador of Corpus Christi; two daughters, Melissa (Ruben) Pena of Harlingen, and Leticia Amador of Kingsville; one brother, Ruben (Maria Luisa) Amador; five grandchildren, Marissa Marie, Ryan, Johana, Jose Jr., and Jaela; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, 01-14-2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Friday, 01-14-2022 at 6:30 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, 01-15-2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin's Catholic Church with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating.
Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
