Lorenzo "Sonny" Rios Jr., 57, of Kingsville, Texas passed away on January 4, 2026, in Corpus Christi, Texas.

He was born on February 1, 1968, in Kingsville, Texas.

He was a retired concrete finisher.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lorenzo T. Rios; one son, Damian McKarty.

Survivors include his mother, Manuela V. Rios of Kingsville; three sons, Randy Alegria, Nathan De Leon, and Mark Trevino; one daughter, Elsa De Leon; numerous grandchildren; three sisters, Nita (Rafael II) De La Rosa, Christina (Dean Reeder †), and Leticia De La Paz; one brother, Danny (Adelita) Rios; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 9:30 a.m.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin's Catholic Church with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
