Leonel DeLeon, 80, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 in Kingsville, TX. He was born on March 27, 1933 in Bishop, TX to Regino and Rosa DeLeon.
He was a retired oilfield worker, rancher, and farmer.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Francisca L. DeLeon of Kingsville; five sons, Jose (Isabel) DeLeon of Kingsville, Mario (Melissa) DeLeon of Uvalde, Leo (Ruby Ann) DeLeon of Kingsville, Jaime (Cindy) DeLeon of Lake Jackson, and Cornelio (Patti) DeLeon of Kingsville; three daughters, Terri (Ramiro) Garza of Kingsville, Maribel (Lupe) Velez of Clute, and Maricela Garcia of Missouri City, Texas; three brothers, Delfino DeLeon, Alejandro DeLeon, and Arturo DeLeon; two sisters, Antelia Lozano, and Adela DeLeon; twenty grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thurs., 1-16-2014 from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Thurs., 1-16-2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Fri., 1-17-2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with Father Peter Thenan officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertudis Memorial Cemetery.
