Katelynn Villarreal, age 18, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away on October 31, 2025. She was born on June 22, 2007, in Kingsville, where she grew up surrounded by family and friends who loved her dearly.
Katelynn was a student at H.M. King Care Academy and formerly worked at Dollar General. More than anything, Katelynn loved her family. She shared a special bond with her little brother and cared for him deeply. Her protective and nurturing heart extended to all those she loved — cousins, friends, and relatives who could always count on her. Katelynn's presence brightened every room she entered, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who were blessed to know her.
She is survived by her father, Bobby Villarreal; mother, Julie Garza; brother, Julian Villarreal; paternal grandparents, Frank and Janie Villarreal; and maternal grandmother, Lolita Garza. She also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, half-brothers, half-sisters, cousins, nieces, and nephews who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin's Catholic Church, with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
