Juan Nicolas Trejo Sr., 73, of Kingsville, TX passed away March 20, 2022, in Kingsville, TX.
He was born on July 25, 1948, in Kingsville, TX.
He was employed with GTE as a customer equipment technician. In 2002, he retired from Verizon after 34 years. He was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church. Working on cars, traveling, and fixing things were just a few of his hobbies. He loved to join his friends for coffee every morning at El Tapatio. Mr. Trejo was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. He was so loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Salomon, and Piedad Trejo; his older brother, Salomon Trejo Jr.; and his father-in-law, Tony Loera.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 54 years, Araceli Trejo of Kingsville; three sons, Juan N. (Maryann) Trejo of Kingsville, Daniel Trejo of San Antonio, and David Trejo of Kingsville; his mother-in-law, Cristela Loera; four sisters, Maria Endelia Espinoza, Rosario Julieta (Raymundo†) Garza, Narda Garcia, and Cynthia Ann (Fernando) Rios; eight grandchildren, Jagger Trejo, Eric Trejo, Andrew Trejo, Dylan Trejo, Mia Trejo, Tori Trejo, Kat Orta, and Devin Orta; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, 03-24-2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, 03-25-2022 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating.
Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
