Juan L. "Johnny" Ramirez Jr., 68, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away on August 30, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas.
He was born on January 16, 1957, in Taft, Texas, to Juan I. Ramirez Sr. and Amelia Garza.
He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Jesus Garza Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Leal of Kingsville; four daughters: Marcella Ramirez, Lisa (Jesse) Allen, Amelia Ramirez, and Nicole Ramirez, all of Kingsville; two sons: David Naranjo (Amanda) of Corpus Christi and Juan Ramirez III (Tina) of Kingsville; nine grandchildren: Adrian, Isaac, Alaina, Melina, Mateo, Rose, Lexi, Siena, and Manuel; one great-grandson: Samuel; and many extended family members and friends.
Johnny enjoyed riding Harley-Davidsons, playing golf, and spending time with family and friends. He loved a good laugh and a cold beer, and his sense of humor brought joy to everyone around him. Johnny worked for many years as an HVAC technician in Kingsville. After retiring, he especially loved being with his grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He will be remembered for his big heart, fun-loving spirit, and the laughter he shared.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a memorial service beginning at 5:00 p.m. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
