Juan Jose Gomez, age 74, of Riviera, Texas passed away on June 1, 2017 in Kingsville, Texas.
He was born on May 16, 1943 in Weslaco, Texas to Amador and Maria Candelaria Gomez.
He was self-employed as a paint and body mechanic. He was also a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission Church in Riviera, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Maria Cruz Caballero; one brother, Jose Angel Gomez; and nephew, Mario Reyes Jr.
Survivors include three sisters, Maria J. Reyes of Riviera, Yolanda (Arturo) Caballero of Riviera, and Lucilla Cantu of Monterrey, Mexico; one brother, Amador (Cruzita) Gomez of Brownsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Following Cremation, a private Graveside Service will be held at a later date in Riviera Cemetery.
