Juan Manuel Alvarez Sr., 71, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away on July 18, 2019 in Kingsville, Texas.
He was born on September 12, 1947 in Kingsville, TX to Eliseo and Anita Alvarez.
He was formerly employed with Hubert Construction of Kingsville after many years as a construction foreman.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Eliseo Alvarez Jr.; and one son, Juan Manuel Alvarez Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Sylvia G. Alvarez of Kingsville; one daughter, Cecilia A. Lopez of Kingsville; one son, Adan (Isabel) Alvarez of Kingsville; three sisters, Oralia (Henry) Morales of Kingsville, Belinda Alvarez of Kingsville, and Diana (Juan) Fuentes of Dallas; two brothers, Jesus (Lucy) Alvarez of Riverside, California, and Jose Alvarez of Kingsville; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Mon., 07-22-2019 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tues., 07-23-2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
A Cremation will follow with a private Graveside Service to be held at a later date.
