Josefa G. Martinez, 90, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away on October 24, 2022, in Kingsville, Texas.
She was born on March 19, 1932, in Alice, TX to Jesus and Cipriana Gonzalez.
She was a retired housewife. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Mission Church in Ricardo.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose C. Martinez; one son, Joe Martinez Jr.; one brother, Manuel Gonzalez; and one sister, Diamantina Ortegon.
Survivors include one daughter, Irma M. (David) Hernandez of Kingsville; one son, Ramiro (Olga) Martinez of Kingsville; one brother, Toribio Gonzalez of California; ten grandchildren, Melissa, Monica, Ramiro Jr., Nora, Celeste, David Jr., Michael, Kevin, Troy, and Angela; twenty-three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson, Oliver; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating.
Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
