Jose G. Zavala, 92, a resident of Bishop, TX passed away on April 4, 2021 in Kingsville, TX.
He was born on March 19, 1929.
Mr. Zavala retired with the Texas Highway Department and was a member of St. James Catholic Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Fidencio Zavala Sr.; and one sister, Alejandra Zavala, both of Brownsville, TX.
Survivors include wife of 35 years, Elma Gloria "Cookie" Zavala of Bishop; three sons, Jose Zavala Jr, Armando Zavala, and Jerry (Mari) Sedillo, all of Corpus Christi, TX; one daughter, JoAnn Sedillo of Buda, TX; eight grandchildren, Joe Edward, Isaiah, Joshua, Brayden, Adrian, Deven, Adley, and Roman; seven great-grandchildren; and a loving nephew, Fidencio Zavala Jr.
Visitation will be held on Thurs., 04-08-2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Fri., 04-09-2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Father John Xaviour officiating.
Burial will follow at St. James Catholic Cemetery.
