Jose Q. Silguero, 84, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away on March 13, 2019 in Kingsville, Texas.
He was born on December 16, 1934 in Kingsville, Texas to Emeterio and Teresa Silguero.
He was a retired ranch hand for the King Ranch and a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Esperanza Silguero; two sons, Mario A. Silguero Sr., and Audencio Vela III: two brothers, Hipolito Silguero Sr. and Emeterio Silguero Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Elisa G. Silguero of Kingsville; five sons, Reynaldo (Vidala) Silguero of San Antonio, Orlando (Belinda) Vela of Kingsville, Erasmo Vela of San Antonio, Ignacio (Cindy) Vela, Fidencio (Norma) Vela of Kingsville; one daughter-in-law, Tila G. Silguero; three daughters, Mary (Albert) Pena of Kingsville, Sylvia (Ralph) Arredondo of Kingsville, and Amelia Carbajal of Kingsville; one brother, Rodolfo (Consuelo) Silguero of Kingsville; three sisters, Pita (Cipriano) Escobedo of Kingsville, Maria Luisa Gerragauch of King Ranch, Lucinda Silguero of Winthrop, Massachusetts; twenty-five grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sun. 03-17-2019 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Sun., 03-17-2019, at 6:30 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Mon. 03-18-2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with Father Peter Thenan officiating.
Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
