Jose Juan Sanchez Sr., age 86, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014 in Kingsville, Texas.
He was born on May 25, 1927 in Realitos, Texas to Fortunato and Antonia Sanchez.
He was retired from Celanese and U.S. Army World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Guadalupe V. Sanchez.
Survivors include three daughters, Gloria (Jesus) Ramirez of Kingsville, Ms. Emma Sanchez of Kingsville, and Rosie (Joel) Canales of Kingsville; one son, Roel (Angie) Sanchez of Kingsville; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tues., January 14, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Tues., January 14, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wed., January 15, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with Father Peter Thenin officiating.
Interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
