Jose B. Salazar, 97, of Riviera, TX passed away January 2, 2015 in Kingsville, TX.
He was born on November 27, 1917 in Raymondville, TX to Cipriano and Manuela Salazar.
He was a cowboy for 82 years at San Pedro Kenedy Ranch.
Survivors include two sons, Joe (Josie) Salazar of Nebraska, Johnny Salazar of Rio Hondo, TX; two daughters, Sandra (Ramiro) Sandoval of Kingsville, TX, Evangelina "Vengie" (J.P.) Ramirez of San Diego, TX; twelve grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Mon., 01-05-2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Mon., 01-05-2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tues., 01-06-2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Sarita, TX with Father Jim Foelker officiating.
A Burial will follow at Riviera Cemetery.
Arrangements under the direction of Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
