Jose Mendez, 48, a resident of Driscoll, TX passed away on December 8, 2015 in Driscoll, TX.
He was born on June 22, 1967 in Kingsville, TX to Francisco & Eloisa Mendez.
He was currently employed for Celanese Bishop Facility for 24 years. He was also a member of St. Martins Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Francisco Mendez; one brother, Francisco Mendez Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Melinda Mendez of Driscoll, TX; three daughters, Leandra Mendez, Sarah Mendez, Criselda Mendez all of Driscoll, TX; his mother, Eloisa Mendez of Driscoll, TX; four brothers, Ramon Mendez of Bishop, TX, Samuel (Norma) Mendez of Bishop, TX, Luis (Belinda) Mendez of Driscoll, TX, David (Margie) Mendez of Skidmore, TX; three sisters, Celia (Marcelino) Gonzalez of Bishop, TX, Mary Loera of Bishop, TX, Janie Galvan of Driscoll, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thurs., 12-10-15 from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Thurs., 12-10-15 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Fri., 12-11-15 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating.
Burial will follow at Cemeterio De La Luz in Driscoll, TX.
