Jose Adan Mendez, age 82, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2025.

Born on December 30, 1942, in Kingsville, Texas, Jose was the beloved son of Jose F. and Paula Mendez. A proud graduate of H.M. King High School, Class of 1963, he went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Air Force.

Jose later built a long and dedicated career as a purchasing clerk with P&H Manufacturing Co., where he was known for his strong work ethic and steady demeanor.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Maria Mendez, and brother, Ruben Mendez.

Jose is lovingly remembered by his sister, Olivia Mendez of Kingsville; brothers, Oscar Mendez of Lacey, Washington, and Noe Mendez of Kingsville; and numerous nieces and nephews who will always cherish his memory.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary beginning at 9:00 a.m.
A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin's Catholic Church, officiated by Father Alfredo Villarreal. Jose will be laid to rest afterward at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
