Jose Enrique Guerra, age 79, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025, in Corpus Christi, surrounded by loved ones.

Born on January 29, 1946, in Kingsville, Jose was the son of Santiago and Corina Guerra. A proud lifelong resident, he spent his working years as a dedicated groundskeeper, known for his strong work ethic and quiet pride in a job well done.

Jose was known for his warm spirit, quick wit, and a sense of humor that could light up any room. His laughter was infectious, and his generosity knew no bounds. Whether he was cracking jokes or lending a helping hand, Jose brought joy and comfort to those around him. He was a devoted father and grandfather who cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren—his pride and joy. His presence was truly one of a kind, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Cynthia Ann Guerra, and his brothers, Hector Guerra, Santiago Guerra Jr., Bobby Guerra, and Benito Guerra.

Left to honor his legacy are his loving children: Roxanne (Robert) Guerra, Selina (Eleazar) Guerra, Deandra (Steven) Beltran, Joel (Jessica) Guerra, and Jose Luis Campos; his cherished grandchildren: Dylan, Joel, Jay, Kassidy, Joel Jr., Haleigh, and Jianna; his sisters: Maria Ramos and Diana Ortiz; along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m.

A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 p.m. at St. Martin's Catholic Church, officiated by Father Alfredo Villarreal. Jose will be laid to rest at Kingsville Resthaven Cemetery.

His legacy of laughter, love, and kindness will remain etched in the hearts of all who knew him.
