Jose Alberto Galvan, 69, of Kingsville, TX passed away on June 18, 2016 in Kingsville, TX.
He was born on March 31, 1947 in Kingsville, TX to Fidencia "Pete" and Alicia Galvan.
He was a retired KISD teacher after 31 years of employment. He was a 1972 graduate of Texas A&I with a B.A. in Education. He was also a member of St. Martins Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine P. Galvan.
Survivors include one daughter, Annette G. (Edward) Espinosa of Kingsville; two sons, Michael Joseph Galvan and Jose Alberto (Denise) Galvan Jr., both of Kingsville; one brother, Rudy Galvan of Kingsville; two sisters, Emma G. De La Paz and Linda G. Mendietta, both of Kingsville; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Rosary will be held on Tuesday, 06-21-2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, 06-22- 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating and Deacon Raul Rosales assisting.
Interment will follow at Kingsville Resthaven Cemetery.
