Jose G. Guerra, 85, of Kingsville, Texas passed away on January 11, 2016 in Floresville, Texas.
He was born on May 25, 1930 in Kingsville, TX.
He was a retired truck driver, and a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran.
He was preceded in death by mother, Petra G. Guerra; and brother, Jesus Calzada.
Survivors include his wife, Eliza A. Guerra of Kingsville, TX; two sons, Jose E. (Maria) Guerra, and Rick (Maggie) Guerra both of Kingsville, TX; one daughter, Amalia Guerra Gaytan of Karnes City, TX; three sisters, Antonia Rios of Kingsville, TX, Lucia Ochoa of Corpus Christi, TX, and Victoria Gonzalez of Temecula, CA; one brother, Julian Calzada of Kingwood, TX; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, 01-14-2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
A Rosary will be held on Thursday, 01-14-2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, 01-15- 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating.
Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
