Jose Francisco Cantu,77, of Kingsville, TX passed away August 26, 2016 in Corpus Christi, TX.
He was born on October 10, 1938 in Ben Bolt, TX to Hilario and Francisca Cantu.
He was a retired cook, formally employed with Texas A&I University and Kettle Pancake House.
He was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Anna M Cantu of Kingsville, TX; two sons, Noe Joel Cantu and Jose Francisco (Keana) Cantu Jr., both of Kingsville, TX; one daughter, Cassandra (Antonio) Bueno of Kingsville, TX; three grandchildren, one great-grand daughter and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 29, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary was held on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
Cremation will follow with a private burial at a later date.
