Jose Manuel "El Sol" Lozano, 70, of Kingsville, TX passed away September 8, 2019 in Kingsville, TX.
He was born on August 9, 1949 in Kingsville, TX to Jose and Marina Lozano.
He retired from Kleberg Co. Parks and Recreation in the Maintenance Dept. He was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church and was also a founder of Mariachi De Sol since 1979.

He was preceded in death by one son, Baby Jose Manuel Lozano Jr; and one grandson, Joshua James.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Guadalupe O. Lozano of Kingsville; one daughter, Estefana Marina (Michael) Mechell of Kingsville; one son, Jose Manuel (Michelle) Lozano of Kingsville; one sister, Carmen (Ramiro) Utley of Kingsville; three granddaughters, Bianca Nicole, Veronica Lynn, and Abigail Renee; and one grandson, Michael Mechell Jr.

Visitation will be held on Wed., 09-11-2019 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Wed., 09-11-2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thurs., 09-12-2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
