Jose Angel Lopez, 88, of Ricardo, TX, passed away on May 2, 2016 in Kingsville, TX.
He was born on October 2, 1927 in Dolores, Texas to Mr. & Mrs. Esteban and Andrea Lopez.
He was a retired self-employed owner and operator of Joe's TV Repair Shop in Bishop and a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Emilia Lopez of Ricardo; four daughters, Janie (Ruben) Wilder of Ricardo, Mary (Ramiro) Gutierrez of Ricardo, Sandra (David) Gonzales of Riviera, and Gracie (Angel) Jasso of Rockport; three sons, Jose Angel (Lupita) Lopez Jr. of Kingsville, Jaime (Mary) Lopez of Ricardo, and Gabriel (Bernice) Lopez of Corpus Christi; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thurs., 05-05-2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Thurs., 05-05-2016 at 6:30 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Fri., 05-06- 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Bishop, TX with Father John Xaviour officiating.
Burial will follow at St. James Catholic Cemetery in Bishop, TX.
