Jose Angel Garcia, age 85, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Tues., October 8, 2013 in Kingsville, TX.
He was born on November 26, 1927 in Kingsville, TX to Jose Antonio and Herlinda Garcia.
He was a retired carpenter. He was a member of St. Martins Catholic Church, a member of the local Carpenter Union, and a member of Knights of Columbus Council #2623.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Guillermo D. Garcia.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Maria E. Garcia of Kingsville; two daughters, Rosemary (Marty) Garcia of Kingsville, and Martha (Ricardo) Gonzalez of Kingsville; three sons, Jose Angel (Teresa) Garcia Jr. of Beeville, Juan Manuel (Alicia) Garcia of Kingsville, and Victor Garcia of Kingsville; one brother, Juan D. Garcia of San Antonio; thirteen grandchildren; one great- grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wed., Oct. 9, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Wed., Oct. 9, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thurs., Oct. 10, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martins Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating.
Interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
