Joe L. Shaw, 87, of Kingsville, TX passed away on May 28, 2018 in Corpus Christi, TX.
He was born on July 3, 1930 in Kenedy, TX to Joseph & Jarrell Shaw.
He was an Air Force Veteran. He retired from Barton Security after 30 years, and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy D. Shaw; two brothers, Charles and Jim Shaw; and one sister, Peggy Pack.
Survivors include two sons, William Shaw of Seguin, TX and Phillip Shaw of Bryan, TX; two daughters, Rebekkah Tacquard of Seguin, TX, and Zena Phipps of Calallen, TX; two brothers, Allen C. Shaw of Calallen, TX and Tommy Jaquess of Austin, TX; five grandchildren, Houston Shaw, Travis Shaw, Cody Shaw, Lyndsy Tacquard, and Susanna Jennings; and three great-granddaughters.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, 06-03-2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, 06-04-2018 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
