Jimmy Rodriguez, age 53, of Kingsville, Texas passed away December 19, 2023, Corpus Christi, Texas.
He was born on October 3, 1970, in Kingsville, Texas to Juan Francisco and Celia Rodriguez.
Jimmy's life was marked by hard work and dedication as a retired laborer. His roots were firmly established in Kingsville, where he attended H.M. King High School. He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys. Jimmy's heart found its true happiness in the warmth of family gatherings, barbeques, and celebrations. His love for his family was evident in the joy he radiated during these moments spent with the ones he held most dear.
Jimmy leaves behind a legacy of love and family bonds that will be carried on by those who survive him. He is survived by his devoted wife of 14 years, Maricruz Jimenez of Kingsville, and two stepsons, David Lee Jimenez, and Christopher Joseph Jimenez. His memory will also be cherished by his sisters, Pam Briseno of Mauriceville, Texas, and Priscilla (Rudy) De La Rosa of Kingsville, Texas, as well as his brothers, Benito (Victoria) Rodriguez of Kingsville, and Juan Francisco (Quala) Rodriguez of Portland.
In addition to his immediate family, Jimmy leaves behind five grandchildren, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation to celebrate Jimmy's life will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary scheduled for 7:00 p.m. A private Graveside Service will be held at a later date, providing an intimate setting for family and close friends to pay their respects.
