Jesus Loera Jr., 88, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away June 15, 2024, in Kingsville, Texas.

He was born on May 7, 1936, in Roma, TX to Jesus and Dorotea Loera.

He was a retired self-employed trucker with Loera Brothers Trucking. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife, San Juana D. Loera; one son, Juan Jose Loera; five brothers, Ramiro, Rene, Ruben, Rosendo, and Raymundo.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Saldana of Kingsville; two sons, Joe Loera, and David Loera, all of Kingsville; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Salina, Briana, Larry Jr., Mark, John David, and Jacob; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters, Irma (Cheque) De La Paz of Kingsville, and Ramona (Joe) Gonzalez of Floresville.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Paulson officiating. Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
