Jesus Espinoza, a beloved soul who graced the world with his kindness and unwavering love, departed this life on November 7, 2023, in Kingsville, TX. Born on December 6, 1959, in Los Angeles, California, he was the cherished child of Ramon and Fidela Espinoza.
Jesus led a purposeful life as a retired machinist, where his dedication and craftsmanship were unparalleled. He loved to create art and had several creative hobbies including painting, woodworking, and making concrete crosses. His greatest joy was found within the embrace of his family. His heart knew no bounds when it came to aiding and supporting those he held dear. As a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend, his generosity and warmth knew no limits. His legacy of love and selflessness will forever be etched in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.
In the embrace of eternity, Jesus joins his siblings, Maria Gloria Espinoza, Ramon Espinoza Jr., Victoria E. Liguez, Margarita Resendez, and Marina E. Orozco.
Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of 30 years, Elma R. Espinoza of Kingsville; his son, Jesus Espinoza Jr., and his three daughters, Judith (Edlando) Ochoa, Jessica Espinoza, and Jaylean E. (Gabe) Garcia. He is also survived by his five sisters, Celestina Chavana, Margie Orozco, Bonnie Suarez, Frances (Jose) Rojas, Marylou Espinoza, and three brothers, Isael (Oralia) Espinoza, Robert (Laura) Espinoza, Simon Barraza. His legacy continues through his six grandchildren, Marisa, Ashley, Jazlyn, Mark, Jalyssa, and Jayla, and four great-grandchildren. Jesus also leaves behind numerous cousins, and a multitude of nieces and nephews he touched through his kindness.
A visitation honoring his life will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary ceremony at 7:00 p.m.
His life will be celebrated with a Funeral Mass on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, with Father Paulson presiding over the ceremony.
Following the Mass, Jesus will be laid to rest at Chamberlain Cemetery, where he will find eternal peace.
Jesus Espinoza's legacy of love, compassion, and boundless generosity will remain an enduring beacon in the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for the countless lives he touched and the love he shared unconditionally. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
