Jesus R. Cuevas, 71, of Bishop, TX passed away on December 14, 2018 in Corpus Christi, TX.
He was born on August 6, 1947 in Matamoros, Mexico.
He was a retired cook with the Laredo Taco Co., and was also a member of Primera Iglesia Baptista Church.
He is preceded in death by his niece, Maria Cuevas; one brother-in-law, Alfredo Fuentes.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Enedelia T. Cuevas of Bishop; three sons, Jesus (Evalei) Cuevas Jr. of Bishop, Bonifacio (Sandra) Gonzalez Jr. of California, and Santiago (Lisa) Gonzalez of Bishop; two daughters, Criselda (Vicente) Gonzales of Sugarland, and Luisa (Matthew) Herrera of Bishop; three brothers; two sisters; one grand-daughter who lived with him, Angel Nicole Gonzalez; twenty-two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Mon., 12-17-2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Religious Service will be held on Mon., 12-17-2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tues., 12-18-2018 at 10:00 a.m. at La Primera Iglesia Baptista Church in Bishop with Pastor David Garcia officiating.
Burial will follow at Evangelico Cemetery in Bishop, TX.
