Jesus V. "Chuy" Cavazos, 73, of Kingsville, TX passed away March 13, 2017 in Corpus Christi, TX.
He was born on December 30, 1943 in Alice, TX.
He was a musician and loved to sing & play his guitar.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leoncio Cavazos; his mother, Gertrudis V. Cavazos; brothers, Leoncio Cavazos Jr., Juan "Marcelo" Cavazos, Marcelo "Mario" Cavazos and Luis Guillermo Cavazos; and sisters, Maria A. Cavazos, and Hilda Jasso.
Survivors include his brother, Dagoberto Cavazos of Kingsville; sisters, Maria D. Cavazos of Alice, and Mrs. Amparo Lopez of Alice; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wed., 03-15-2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Wed., 03-15-2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thurs., 03-16-2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating and Deacon Raul Rosales assisting.
Burial will follow at Robertson Collins Cemetery in Alice, Texas.
