Jesus R. "Chuy" Carrillo, 71, a resident of Kingsville, TX passed away on June 30, 2025, in Kingsville, Texas.

He was born on April 17, 1954, in Kingsville, Texas to Juan and Maria Carrillo.

He was a retired structural mechanic with the Corpus Christi Army Depot. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church. He enjoyed spending time visiting different casinos with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Juan "Pino" Carrillo Jr, and Manuel Carrillo; one sister, Guadalupe "Lupita" Carrillo; and one sister-in-law, Anita G. Carrillo.

Survivors include two brothers, Gregorio "Greg" (Amparo) Carrillo of Kingsville, and Jose R. (Anita †) Carrillo of Kingsville; two sisters, Maria Francis Torres of Kingsville and Anna C. (Fritz †) Hernandez of Kingsville; one aunt, Elida (Jesus) Salinas of Sarita; two nieces, Kathy Torres, and Christina (Agustin) Cerda; four nephews, Gabriel Torres, Jason Hernandez, James Hernandez, and John Hernandez; a dear friend, Antonia "Tony" Perez; and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin's Catholic Church with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
