Israel Rosas Perez Jr., 65, formerly of Kingsville, Texas passed away on January 9, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas.
He was born on February 20, 1957, in Kingsville, Texas.
Mr. Perez was a retired Sheriff Deputy with Kleberg, Burnett, and Wharton Counties, as well as a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a member of the Spicewood Volunteer Fire Department and enjoyed participating in the Brown Santa during Christmas time.
He is preceded in death by his father, Israel A. Perez.
Survivors include his mother, Maria Rosas Perez of Kingsville; three brothers, Jesus R. Perez, Carlos Perez, and Manuel R. Perez; five sisters, Antonia R. Perez, Irma P. (David) Flores, Eva R. Perez, Janie Buentello, and Maria Elena Salers; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 10:00 a.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father John McKenzie officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
