Israel C. Galvan, 82, of Kingsville, TX passed away on November 3, 2022, in Corpus Christi, TX.
He was born on July 18, 1940, in Kingsville, TX to Jesus and Magdalena Galvan.
He was a retired custodian with K.I.S.D. and a former member of Knights of Columbus Council #2623.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Olivia M. Galvan; one son, Santiago "Jimmy" Galvan; one brother, Santiago Galvan; and two sisters, Rosa Elia Aguilar, and Graciela G. Martinez.
Survivors include one son, Israel (Carmen) Galvan Jr.; two daughters, Angie (Roy) Moreno of Kingsville, and Pricilla (Alfred) Galvan; one daughter-in-law, Gracie Galvan; two brothers, Jesus Galvan Jr., and Carlos Galvan; seven grandchildren, Joseph Robert, John Paul, Nicole, Austin, Lacey, Ernesto Jr., and Israel; one great-granddaughter, Catalina; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Mon., 11-07-2022 from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 10:00 a.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, 11-07-2022 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Paulson officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
