Isabel "Chavela" Gonzales, 88, of Kingsville, TX passed away on November 5, 2021, in Kingsville, TX.
She was born on August 3, 1933, in Kingsville, TX to Victoriano and Maria Aminta Tijerina.
She was a retired teacher with Robstown I.S.D. She was also a member of El Buen Pastor Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by her husband, Armando Gonzales Sr.; two sisters, Frances De Leon, and Estella Lopez; three brothers, Carlos Tijerina, Pablo Tijerina, and Ramiro Tijerina.
Survivors include one son, Armando (Penny) Gonzales Jr. of Marquette Heights, Illinois; one daughter, Rebecca (George) Adame of Kingsville; two sisters, Martha Alfaro, and Olga Eckstein; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, 11-12-2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at El Buen Pastor Methodist Church.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, 11-12-2021 at 7:00 p.m. at El Buen Pastor Methodist Church.
