Hilda Lomas Garcia, 88, of Kingsville, TX passed away on August 8, 2020 in Kingsville, Texas.
She was born on May 15, 1932 in Kingsville, TX to Santiago and Estella Lomas.
She worked for Kleberg County Human Senior Citizen Services for many years. Hilda was a devoted wife and mother, and she served many years in her community as a Eucharistic Minister. She was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church, as well as a member of St. Martin's Altar Society and St. Martin's Catholic Daughters of America.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jose Oscar Garcia; one son, Joaquin Garcia; two brothers, Oscar Lomas, and Romeo Lomas; two sisters, Amalia McCracken and Linda Lomas.
Survivors four daughters, Melinda Pena of Colorado, Mary Ann (Tom) Rivera of Mission, Susan (Gus) De Leon of Kingsville, and Gloria (Robert) Taylor of Corpus Christi; one son, Jose Oscar "Joey" (Yadira) Garcia of Katy; ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Private Services will be held per family's request.
