Hilario "Quinty" Garza III, 65, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away on March 28, 2026, in Corpus Christi, Texas.
He was born on August 4, 1960, in Kingsville, Texas, to Hilario and Hilda Garza Jr. He retired from the King Ranch, where he worked as an Equipment Operator with South Texas Farms. He loved spending time with his family and friends, barbequing, and watching his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. He especially cherished his time with his grandchildren, teaching them valuable life lessons. He was always willing to help others, even when he himself was in need.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Leora Garza, and his sister, Dalia Gonzalez.
He is survived by his son, Thomas J. (Lorena) Garza of Kingsville; his daughter, Laura Lee Garza of Kingsville; five grandchildren, Julian, Derrick, Antonio, Lexis, and Linda; one brother, Gilbert "Sonny" (Jennifer) Garza of Madera, California; one great-grandson, Jordan Garza; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin's Catholic Church, with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating. Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
