Hernan M. Garcia, 80, of Kingsville, Texas passed away on May 11, 2016 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
He was born on June 24, 1935 in La Gloria, TX to Ernesto and Micaela Garcia.
He was a retired paint and body specialist with Nix Chevrolet and Phil Neessen Chevrolet. He was
a member of the Knights of Columbus #2623, and also part of the Muturalistas of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #99.
He was preceded in death by his son, Homero Estevan Garcia.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Yolanda S. Garcia of Kingsville, TX; six sons, Juan Garcia (Leticia Hinojosa Garcia), Victor (Espi) Garcia, Emilio (Anita) Garcia, Mario (Frances) Garcia all of Kingsville, TX, Ernesto (Debra) Garcia Corpus Christi, TX, and Jorge (Irma) Garcia of Bishop, TX; two sisters, Janie Gonzalez and Andrea Adame both of San Antonio, TX; one brother, Baldemar Garcia of Alice, TX; fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, 05-13-2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
A Rosary will be held on Friday, 05-13-2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, 05-14- 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martins Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating.
Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
