Hermila Garcia Villagomez, 86, of Kerrville, Texas passed away October 29, 2022, in Kerrville, Texas.
She was born on August 8, 1936, in Kingsville, Texas to Guadalupe and Maria Garcia.
She was a retired teacher's aide (1977-2009) with Notre Dame Catholic School. She was also a member of Notre Dame Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Ricardo Villagomez; three sisters, Maria Elena Salinas, Angelica Garza, and Elma Montez; and three brothers, George A. Garcia, Jose Enrique Garcia, and Jose Maria Garcia.
Survivors include two sons, Rick G. Villagomez (Cheryl Castleberry) and Roger G. Villagomez (Miz Rios); two daughters, Roxi G. Villagomez (Dalton Southern), and Rachel (Donnie) Norris; two sisters, Hermelinda G. Galvan (twin sister), and Mary Frances Anderson; four grandchildren, Darian, Jada, Niki, and Tony; two great-grandchildren, Avery, and Micah; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 11-08-2022 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 10:00 a.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, 11-08-2022 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating.
Burial will follow at Las Latas Cemetery near Alice, Texas.
