Hermila Baxter, age 92, of Kingsville, Texas passed away on May 14, 2023, in Kingsville, Texas.
She was born on February 14, 1931, in Kingsville, Texas to Samuel and Genoveva Gonzalez.
She was a retired homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Baxter; and two sons, Ruben Garcia, and Felix De Los Angeles.
Survivors include three daughters, Noelia Garcia of Kingsville, Maria Augetha "Aggie" Rosas of San Antonio, and Julia (Gilbert) Nuncio of Bishop; two sons, Juan Garcia of Kingsville, and Daniel Garcia of Kingsville; twelve grandchildren, Courina, Monica, Amado, Eladio, Jay, Ysel, Laura, Jacob, Michael, David, Chris, and Tiffany; eighteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
