Gustavo G. Garza, 92, of Kingsville, TX passed away December 18, 2019 in Bishop, TX.
He was born on January 10, 1927 in Sejita, TX to Gregorio and Dionicia Garza.
He retired as a civil service worker with the Corpus Christi Army Depot. He was a World War II Army Veteran and a member of St. Martin Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by wife, Dora Barrera Garza; one son, Gustavo "Kawie" Garza Jr.; three brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include four daughters, Estella (Ernesto) Mechell of Bishop, Audrey (Rolando) De La Paz of Kingsville, Delma (Zaragoza) Salinas Jr. of Kingsville, and Sonja Garza (Mandy Rodriguez) of Kingsville; three sons, Emilio (Delia) Garza of Kingsville, Roberto (JoAnn) Garza of Deer Park, and Ray Anthony (Veronica) Garza of Kingsville; one sister, Ella Pardo of Kingsville; twenty-four grandchildren; fifty great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Fri., 12-20-2019 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Fri., 12-20- 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Sat., 12-21-2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
