Gustavo G. Garza, 60, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away December 15, 2015 in Kingsville, Texas.
He was born on December 3, 1955 in Kingsville, TX to Mr. & Mrs. Oscar and Julia Garza.
He was employed with K.I.S.D. as a Teacher/Athletic Coach at Memorial Middle School. He was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church. He was also an author and writer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Dolores Garza.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Sheila Garza of Kingsville; three daughters, Astrea Williams of Virginia, Stephanie (Cory) Ramirez of Kingsville, and Chandra (Richard) Lewis of Tennessee; one son, Alarick (Elizabeth) Garza of Kingsville; two brothers, Oscar (Sally) Garza of Corpus Christi, and Gilbert (Lisa) Garza of Hondo; nine grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sun., 12-20-2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Sun., 12-20-2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Mon., 12-21-2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
