Graciela Urbina De Leon, 71, of Riviera, Texas, passed away on March 23, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on November 25, 1954, in Raymondville, Texas, Graciela was the beloved daughter of Rodimiro and Alberta Urbina. Her life was defined by her unwavering dedication to others. She worked as a home provider before her retirement and was a devoted member of First Community Baptist Church in Riviera. A woman of strong faith, she found joy in music, dancing, gardening, and cooking.
Graciela cherished her family above all else, especially her grandchildren, with whom she loved spending time. She was the heart and soul of generations—known for her wisdom, strength, and unconditional love. She had a special gift for nurturing life, both in her garden and in the hearts of those around her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfredo De Leon Jr.; her brothers, Rodimiro "Boy" Urbina Jr. and Juan Urbina; and her sisters, Alberta Urbina, Adela Mauricio, and Irma Villarreal.
She is survived by her loving children: daughters Leticia (Jesse) Ramos of Corpus Christi and Linda (Lewis) Anderson of Corpus Christi; sons Jacinto De Leon of Riviera and Jacob (Jazmine) De Leon of Corpus Christi; and her cherished grandchildren, Layla, Brayden, Izabella, Zackary, Kathalia, J.D. Ramos (Katie), Kierstyn Andrews, and Caylee Andrews. She is also survived by her sisters, Alicia (Jesse) Arana and Elena (Rudy) Villarreal, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a religious service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Lupe Aguilar of First Community Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Riviera Cemetery.
